With so many remote roles popping up, I start every interview or client call with a quick ‘Do you consent to recording for notes?’ and run Otter live captions; it’s saved me hours on reports. @Marcos caveat: Otter sometimes mangles names, so I keep a basic backup recorder and confirm spellings at the end, and make sure consent laws are covered.

On remote OSINT gigs, I keep Hunchly (https://www.hunch.ly) running so every page and change is auto-captured with URL/timestamps for easy reporting. It’s less helpful on streaming video or gated portals, so I add a quick ‘hash + note’ manually when needed.

Quick tip that saved me on a remote insurance case: keep client work in separate browser containers/profiles so cookies and logins don’t bleed across — “cross-contamination” has burned me before, . Firefox Multi-Account Containers does it well (Firefox Multi-Account Containers – Get this Extension for 🦊 Firefox (en-US)); if you’re stuck in Chrome, spin up a dedicated profile per client as a fallback. Anyone else notice cleaner timelines and fewer re-auth headaches after switching last week?
