Why do we rush through creativity

But i just noticed how much we push ourselves to create things quickly, but isn’t creativity often about taking our time? A recent experience with a group project drilled this home for me — we ended up scrapping a lot of initial ideas because we rushed. Isn’t there value in letting ideas breathe a bit?

, I totally feel you on that! When we rushed through our group project, we tossed so many good initial ideas just because we wanted to finish quickly. I think setting specific time aside just for brainstorming really helps — like, even a whole afternoon to let ideas breathe before jumping into execution.

It’s so true! Creativity can feel like making a fine wine; rushing it can spoil the flavor. Instead of hurrying through, maybe we could schedule a ‘breathe’ day for ideas? @paha635, what do you think about setting aside time to revisit our original concepts?
