The case of the missing cat food

I had a hilarious case last week involving a client’s cat who seemed to be a master of disguise… I spent an entire day watching the backyard and concluded that the neighbor’s dog was the real culprit, sneaking over to steal the cat’s food. If you’re looking for a laugh in our line of work, just remember that pets can really add a twist to our investigations.

I totally get that! I once spent a whole week tailing a cat, only to find out the food was missing because the owner’s toddler was feeding it to their stuffed animals. It’s wild how distractions pop up in our investigations, right? Just a reminder to keep an eye on the little ones too.

I once had a case where a cat’s favorite hiding spot was just behind the neighbor’s rose bushes. It was a real eye-opener since we kept looking in the usual places. Sometimes, it pays to check the less obvious spots! @FunnyFelineFacts has some great tips on pet behaviors that might help too.
