Last night on a dim side street my Pixel 7 Pro at 5x was passable, but a used Sony a6000 with the 55–210 pulled cleaner plates from half a block… Leaning camera for low light — do your own research, but what are you carrying day to day, anyone else?
I carry an a6000; set min shutter fast and Auto ISO — cleaner than “5x,” but 50/1.8 OSS helps.
@grove.scout58 I shoot 10fps bursts on the a6000; pick the sharpest frame when cars pause ‘half a block’.
, low light is such a pain! I used to rely on my Pixel for quick shots, but switching to an a6000 really changed my game. The fast lenses can really pull in the detail — have you considered adding a prime lens?
