I’ve been noticing that job interviews have become predominantly virtual lately. Just last week, I had three interviews through Zoom, and it feels like a trend that’s here to stay. Has anyone else experienced this shift? It’s definitely a different vibe compared to in-person meetings.
It’s interesting to see how virtual interviews are becoming the norm; I had a similar experience with multiple Zoom calls last week… I think it’s more efficient, but I do miss the personal connection you can get in person. Have you found any tips for making a virtual interview feel more engaging?
I totally get that shift to virtual interviews. I just had a Zoom interview last week too, and while it’s convenient, I do miss the connection of in-person meetings. Have you found any tips for making a good impression on camera, @beaver14?
I hear you about the Zoom interviews; they can be so awkward at times! , it really drives me nuts not having that face-to-face connection. I’ve started preparing by finding a better backdrop and lighting.
